Electrolytic / Electrochemical Capacitors
Hybrid Capacitors combine a tantalum wet anode
with an electrochemical super capacitor cathode to provide very
high energy densities (up to 2 joules / cc and 0.5 joules / g).
Hybrid Capacitors have low ESR, Low leakage and excellent frequency
response. Hybrid Capacitors are most applicable where size and
weight are critical: Avionics and Space, RF Systems, Power Supplies,
Communications Equipment, Weapons Systems, Medical Devices.
Electrochemical Capacitors
Capattery is a tantalum encased double layer
carbon capacitor that provides energy for back-up or pwer interruption
over full military temperature range, shock, vibration and hostile
environments.
